BIG LEAF MAPLE
A stunning floor, great when you want to really brighten up a space and bounce some light throughout.
Big Leaf Maple has a pale champagne color with warm, almost pinkish undertones.
Not white and sterile looking like its eastern cousin. Big Leaf Maple is known for its figured, three dimensional grain- this wood is prized by the finest violin makers. Similar in hardness to American Cherry- its a good choice for light traffic residential applications. Our Character grade will have a natural look with tight knots ,checks and some darker chocolate brown wood. Select grade will provide a more uniform, clean and modern look.
