OREGON WHITE OAK- character grade
select grade / rustic distressed wide plank
A really tough wood with very distinct personality. Our West Coast White Oak is often compared to the European French Oak, a cool champagne color with some contrasting lighter cream colored sapwood. We leave the quarter-sawn figured grain in our floors, creating a more varied and interesting surface than the East Coast variety.
Select grade creates a sophisticated, modern look, while the Character grade has a very different, more natural feel. We run the Character grade up to 8" wide for a great, older style feel, lots of clients prefer a random width wide plank in this wood.
