Northwesterners love every aspect of this place, including these native woods and floors, grown and manufactured here.  Madrone, Myrtle, and Big Leaf Maple, are just a few of the more popular and unique native hardwoods that you just won't find anywhere else. 

Healthy Hardwoods
Is it time to pull up that old, musty carpet for something you can really keep clean?  Solid wood has none of the adhesives and formaldehydes that laminate woods or new carpeting have, and you get to pick the finish to suit your needs.  Learn the right way to clean and maintain your hardwood floor.

Healthier Wood Finishes
We really like OS Hard Wax Oil, a natural, plant based finish that penetrates and hardens within the wood, creating a durable and water repellent floor.  With OS, you're  walking on the wood, not a coating of urethane plastic.

FSC Environmentally Certified Woods
Our American Cherry, Eastern Maple and Yellow Birch and Red Oak are all FSC Certified.  Other species are available certified in limited quantities.  Learn more about FSC and the certification process which assures you that your wood is coming from a sustainable forest.
