EDGE SLAB Mantel Detail- Yew
Where to start?
RUSTIC RECLAIMED- Barn timbers with personality, we finish these to 3 very different looks.
Hand Hewn Reclaimed- clean sanded smooth top and bottom shelf, the front face maintains the classic rich dark color of the time-worn, reclaimed timber with nail and bolt holes.
Classic Reclaimed- Smooth sanded on the face as well as the top and bottom. Even so, these old softwood timbers have a glowing antique amber patina and old look that new wood just can't match.
Driftwood Reclaimed- A few of our timbers were exposed to the weather for many many years. When we sand away the loose fibers, the solid wood remaining has a very sculptural, natural flow to it, reminiscent of sea-tumbled beach wood.
NATURAL EDGED MANTELS- a whole different category of fireplace mantels. Straight from the tree, kiln dried and ready for indoor use.
All have a flat back with a square cut flat and smooth top shelf. All have a natural front face but each has a very distinct personality. Clean and smooth or swirly and highly figured. You'll need to spend some time looking through the gallery to find the look and size that is perfect for you.
FURNITURE GRADE- A very clean, contemporary look. As to design- the sky is the limit. Any size, any wood we offer. We have a few photos but we'll want to work closely to design one that works into your design.
